I am an experienced headteacher and education leader with over 30 years in education, including more than 25 years in senior leadership across the UK and international settings. Throughout my career, I have led schools and organisations through significant change and improvement, with a consistent focus on raising standards while building strong, inclusive and sustainable cultures.

My leadership is grounded in the belief that everyone within a school community has the capacity to lead, learn contribute and grow - 'Everyone a Learner, Everyone a Leader'. As Headteacher of a primary school in the Isle of Man, I led a programme of whole-school improvement that strengthened behaviour, inclusion and teaching quality. This included the introduction of a restorative approach, the development of a specialist provision centre for pupils with complex needs, and a redesigned curriculum supported by improved assessment systems. Alongside this, I prioritised staff development and distributed leadership, ensuring that improvement was both embedded and sustainable.

My experience extends internationally, including senior leadership and principal roles in large, complex school settings. I have led organisational development across multiple phases and settings, strengthened leadership structures, and worked within a range of inspection and accreditation frameworks. This has given me a strong understanding of governance, quality assurance and system-level improvement. I now work with schools, trusts and organisations across the UK and internationally, supporting leadership development, school improvement and strategic planning. I bring a thoughtful, evidence-informed approach, alongside a strong commitment to integrity, professionalism and doing what is right for children and young people.

I am particularly interested in leadership development, inclusive practice and building cultures where both staff and pupils are empowered to succeed. I am open to opportunities where I can contribute to meaningful school improvement, leadership development and system-wide impact.
